AIR BOAT OR HELIJET- LOWER WAIMAKARIRI RIVER
After take-off you will enjoy views of Christchurch City and the spectacular Southern Alps before your pilot whisks you away on a ten minute flight to the banks of the Waimakariri River.
Waiting for you will be the award-winning Alpine Jet Thrills team, ready to blast you down this magnificent braided river at speed with their highly trained driver.
Experience the sensation of skimming over wet stones in Air Force 2 Their genuine all American style AirBoat. Then it’s back on board the helicopter for the return flight to base.
Includes 20 minutes of flying and 20 minutes Air Boat (allow 1.0 hour).
HELIJET – UPPER WAIMAKARIRI RIVER
Departing our Christchurch base, you will fly low level along the braided shallows and up into the Waimakariri Gorge to Adventure Park base to your waiting Jet Boat.
Explore the Canyon on a 20 mins adventure safari following the river as it winds from the foothills of the Southern Alps before winging your way back to the Christchurch Heliport.
Includes 40 minutes of flying and 20 minutes Air Boat (allow 1.0 hour).
